The problem of needy children in India is gigantic. There is a need to establish SOS Children's Villages in every part of the country to reach out to more and more children who are in need of long-term care. We also need to keep building our efforts to offer our children better competitive advantages and secure their future with the best possible choices. The extension of our community development projects offering education, health, welfare and skill building services to people, especially women and children in the local communities surrounding our Children's Villages is also an essential aspect of our work with children in India.

With the help and support of sponsors, friends and well wishers and careful planning SOS Children's Villages of India is trying to do better and better in the years to come.

The Government of India has granted 100% exemption from payment of Income Tax on all donations to the organization vide their Notification No. 11492 F. No. NC-73/2000 under Section 35 AC of IT Act 1961.
