Village Director
Village Director is the father figure to 100 to 150 children in a SOS Children’s Village. He is also the Administrative head of the Project. Post Graduation qualification preferably in Social work, Education, Managerial or Allied disciplines. Work experience of 8-10 years, preferably at direct field level with children. Age between 35-45 years and married. The position requires a combination of expertise in human behaviour, relations and administrative skills. Location of posting anywhere in India based on requirement. This is a residential position.


Assistant Village Director
The major tasks are assisting the Village Director in Human, Educational and Administrative affairs. Post Graduate qualification preferably in Social work, Education, Managerial or Allied discipline. Work experience of 4-6 years preferably at direct field level with children. Age between 30-35 years. Must possess strong Administrative and Interpersonal skills. Location of posting anywhere in India.

Co-worker Education (Counsellor)
The position will require expertise in Human Behaviour, Relations and Counseling of children in behavioural and education matters. Post Graduate qualification preferably in Social work, Education, Managerial or Allied discipline. Work experience of 2 years or more, preferably in the field of social Work. Age above 24 years. Location of posting anywhere in India.

SOS Mother
Job Role: Management of household works, caring for children (0-12 years) and adolescents (12+), management of children, their hygiene and education.
Who can apply: Single woman (includes divorcees and widows) in the age group of 28-38 years with no liability of their own and having passed at least Matriculation.

SOS Hermann Gmeiner Schools

Principal
SOS- Hermann Gmeiner Schools are co-educational Senior Secondary Schools affiliated to CBSE. Persons possessing a Master degree and a teaching degree with at least 8 to 10 years of teaching experience and at least 4 years of administrative experience as Principal / Vice Principal. Those serving in residential Public School will be preferred.

PGT / TGT
Persons possessing Master’s Degree in the respective stream with B.Ed. and at least 4 years of teaching experience in a school of repute.

Teacher
Innovative, energetic & enthusiastic teachers possessing requisite qualification with minimum 5 years of teaching experience preferably in a residential school. Attractive Salary package commensurate with experience for deserving candidates. Candidates with experience in public schools and fluency in English.

Voluntary Work

Nationals
Although the organization does not encourage voluntary work, in some special circumstances offers of voluntary help may be considered. The conditions are
a) A minimum commitment of two years to be made.
b) The area of work may be teaching of children
c) Tuition

Foreign Nationals
As a matter of policy of the organization, a foreign National should apply through the SOS Association in his / her country.

Publicity And Fund Raising

Area Co-ordinators
The Area Co-ordinator is the head of Fund Raising team in the state. Preference is given to candidates in the age group of 35 to 40 years and having an experience of 8 to 10 years in sales and marketing, out of which at least two years as head of a team of marketing professionals. The candidate should be a graduate with Diploma in Sales & Marketing. Preference is for MBAs. The applicant should have a pleasing personality and good communication, presentation and inter-personal skills. Leadership qualities will be expected.

Team Leader (YA / Corporate / Direct Mktg)
The Team leader manages the affairs of team of 6-8 Fund Raising Executives, their target setting, planning etc. Preferred qualification is graduation with Diploma in Sales / Marketing with 3-5 years experience in the Sales and Marketing. Fund Raising experience with NGOs will be preferred. Age 30-35 years.

Fund Raising Executives (YA / Corporate / Direct Mktg)
Graduates in any discipline with a flair for Marketing and having good communication and inter-personal skills. Age above 22 years. An experience of 2 to 5 years in direct or indirect marketing is preferred. Work experience in fund raising activities of NGOs is an added advantage.

Tele-Marketing / Direct Marketing Executives.
The applicant should be a Graduate in any discipline with good communication skills. For Telemarketing preference is given to female candidates and for direct marketing preference is given to male candidates. Age in between 22 to 30 years. An experience of 2 to 5 years Telemarketing / Direct Marketing is preferred.
